Day 1 Saturday 25th June Siem Reap
After breakfast, we begin exploring the vast temple complex, starting with the Bayon temple.
After Bayon, we will visit Preah Khan.

After lunch at a local cafe, we will visit Artisans d’Angkor where students are taught cultural craft skills. Dinner will be at a tasty local restaurant.
Day 2 Sunday 26th June Siem Reap
Possible sunrise at Ankor Wat - weather permitting.
After breakfast, we will drive out to the temple complex, starting with a visit to the magnificent Angkor Wat Temple.
After a late lunch, we will visit we visit Ta Prohm. Also known as the Jungle Temple or ‘Tomb Raider’ Temple.
If time a visit to Siem Reap City Centre to shop or return to Hotel for a swim and relaxation
Dinner will be at one of the local restaurants that also provides a show after the style of the Court Apsara dancers.
After dinner we will visit the City night markets.
Day 3 Monday 27th June Siem Reap
This morning we will visit Banteay Srei, a 10th century temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva.
On the way back to Siem Reap we will visit the Landmine Action Centre and learn about Landmines and the impact that they have had on the people of Cambodia.
We will also visit the National Silk Centre set up by Artisans de Angkor.
Dinner will be at a local restaurant such as Cambodian Kitchen.
Day 4 Tuesday 28th June Siem Reap
This morning we will visit the floating villages on the Tonle Sap Lake.
After lunch, we will also visit the city-centre and central markets for our last opportunity to shop in Siem Reap.
Dinner will be at a local restaurant such as the Soup Dragon.
Day 5 Wednesday 29th June Siem Reap - Phnom Penh
Travel to Phnom Penh by bus via Kampong Tom for lunch. It is about a 6 hour trip arriving in Phnom Penh in the late afternoon.
Settle in to Hotel Castle (http://www.hotelcastle.com.kh/) and some free time around the hotel before dinner.
Dinner at ‘Friends’ a local restaurant which is run as a training institution for street kids to learn a trade in the food industry.
Day 6 Thursday 30th June Phnom Penh

This morning we will be briefed by Janne Ritskes (Founder of Tabitha) on house-building. Janne will discuss her NGO Tabitha, in particular the families she supports and helps. We will take the time to do some shopping at the Tabitha headquarters.
We will then visit Tuol Sleng, a former High School which was taken over by Pol Pot and turned into a Security Prison (S-21).
After lunch at the nearby Boddhi Tree restaurant, we’ll visit the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda.
Visit the Central Markets for the remainder of the afternoon.
Dinner at Romdeng, a part of the the Mith Samlanh group that runs ‘Friends’.
Day 7 Friday and Saturday 1st and 2nd July Phnom Penh House Building
An early start this morning to drive to the village where we will be building the house as part of Tabitha Australia.
We will be building in Salalek 5, Kampong Chhnang- its about an hour and a half away N.W. of Phnom Penh barring traffic.
Once the houses have been built, and the official handover has taken place (on the second day), we return to the hotel for a well deserved shower, rest and time to unwind with dinner at a local restaurant with an Australian missionary who is living with his family in the slums of Phnom Penh.

Day 8 Sunday 3nd July Phnom Penh
Another early start for the keen. We will take Tuk Tuks down to the river front near the Royal Palace for sunrise and watch the many and varied local activities that take place every day.
This morning the group will visit the Church of the Good Shephard Anglican Church near our Hotel for their morning service. Pickup orders from Tabitha. Lunch at the Riverfront area where you are free to choose from a number of restaurants or cafes.
After lunch we will visit the “Killing Fields” of Choeng Ek.
Dinner at a local Thai restaurant.
Day 9 Monday 4rd July Phnom Penh
If we have not managed to complete the building process, we will use today to finish off the remaining houses
Otherwise we will visit the National Museum.

Our final dinner at Khmer Surin Restaurant where we can hear traditonal music.
Day 10 Tuesday 5th July Phnom Penh – Singapore – Sydney
This morning we will visit the Sisters of Charity Orphanage which caters for children whose parents have been afflicted with AIDS. We deliver bags of rice donated through our fundraising. Visit the missionary’s small t-shirt business in the slums that provides young men with work and money to continue their school education.
We return to the hotel to check out before 12noon. Lunch at cafes of choice near the river. Mid-afternoon we will head to the airport to check in for our flight home. We will have a transit in Singapore for a few hours before boarding our overnight flight to Sydney.
